I couldn’t read yet (so I must have been under 3) and every night I had to be read that story before going to bed. I eventually learned the whole book by heart and I still remember parts of it nowadays, but, what I remember the most is the pink cover in my mom’s hands and how she turned the pages.
Later on I was really into this series of children’s books where the main characters were a set of twins, coming from the space and who spoke Irish Gaelic! So, basically I asked my parents for Irish Gaelic lessons at the tender age of 6. They thought I was joking. I would have too, as a parent.
